Cindy
Tran
Cindy Tran graduated from UMBC in
2008 with her BS in biology and contemplated taking the
next step to go to medical school. She decided that she
was better suited to pursue Chinese medicine, as she had
been raised with Chinese Medicine being the main
approach to every illness and issue in her family. She
had experienced Chinese Medicine throughout her
childhood, though she never completely understood it.
Cindy attended Tai Sophia Institute
(now known as Maryland University of Integrative Health)
and there she was able to merge her childhood
experiences with Acupuncture with a deep understanding
and appreciation for the theory and the validity of
Chinese medicine for patients with a variety of ailments
and difficulties.
Cindy received her master's degree
in Acupuncture in 2013 and she is now a Doctor of
Acupuncture candidate expected to finish in 2016. She
promotes wellness in all of her patients by working with
them to heal on the physical, mental, and spiritual
levels. By working together with her patients, she is
able to address the root cause for long-term benefits
and facilitate healing her patient as a whole rather
than one symptom at a time.
